Let me tell you a bit about my background and how I started my company.

I grew up around my grandmother's mattress shop in South East London spending most of my school holidays learning the trade.

I’ve been running that business throughout my adult life and the shop itself is still in our family today...

I’ve seen huge changes in the industry over the years, particularly the closure of good, local independent mattress shops, leaving over-priced chain stores as the only option.

In that time I’ve grown tired of the increasing dominance of faceless online brands selling pieces of toxin-rich, synthetic foam rolled up in a box.

They’re no good for your wallet, your body, your sleep or indeed the planet.

A Harry Benmore mattress is designed to benefit your posture, enhance your sleep quality and they are much healthier for the environment. 

Each one is hand-made here in the UK and delivered directly to you, cutting out expensive showrooms and highly paid salesman.

As a result, you will find my mattresses to be twice the quality of the online brands and half the price of the big chain stores.
