It is supported by 7,000 multi-layered pocket springs for a gentle and plush feeling. This mattress is exceptionally luxurious.
With a layer of full sized, steel supported pocket springs at the core, it is then layered with an insulated cotton and wool based pad. Cotton for temperature regulation and wool for durability.
Not only that but then multiple layers of micro-tablet springs to provide support for the finer materials on the surface as well as additional support for the pressure points of the body such as the hips and shoulders.
Then for the good stuff – a layer of Silk, Cashmere, Bamboo, Lambs-wool, Pashmina and Natural Alpaca fibres - known for their unmatched softness and luxurious feel.
This is a highly breathable material which creates a perfectly cool sleeping environment. It is hypoallergenic, resistant to dust mites, and is naturally fire-retardant. It wicks away moisture and keeps the mattress dry.
Finally it is covered in a soft viscose, giving it a smooth, luxurious feel on the surface and has in-built air vents to allow for heat to dissipate.
The Alpaca is completely natural, environmentally friendly and entirely handmade. There are three layers of side-stitching and tufting to ensure complete stability, quality and longevity.
